EVERY WIND OF DOCTRINE my picture

INTRODUCTION

This new Bible site is dedicated to the defense of truth. As Pauls says:

The time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires...they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. 2 Timothy 4:3,4 (All Bible quotes are from the NKJV)).

However, God has provided us with a defence:

He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers...that we should no longer be...tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness by which they lie in wait to deceive. Ephesians 4:11,14.
You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. John 8:32

Indeed, the time has come when sound doctrine is under assault, even from people in high places within the Church. It is the design of these pages to examine these disputed doctrines. Various aspects of Prophecy will also be discussed as they relate to the End of Time.

This site will probably be of most interest to Seventh-day Adventists. However, all who love the Bible, of whatever pursuasion, will derive benefit from studying the articles presented. You are invited to be like those at Berea who were:

More noble than those at Thessalonica, in that they received the Word with all readiness of mind, and searched the Scriptures daily, whether those things were so. Acts 17:11.

THE PLACE OF ELLEN WHITE

You will notice that I often quote from the writings of Ellen White. This is not because I am unable to substantiate my positions from the Bible, but added emphasis and enlightenment may be gained thereby. These writings are known as "The Spirit of Prophecy" and are regarded as an inspired commentary by Seventh-day Adventists.

You may question the use of any source other that the Bible. However, most Seventh-day Adventists firmly believe that Ellen White was a prophet raised up by God as "a lesser light" to bring attention to the great themes of the Bible. For more information on this subject visit the link Ellen White
